Bathroom Tips #1
To remove deposits which may be clogging your metal shower head, combine 1/2 cup white vinegar and one litre water in a saucepan. Then completely submerge the shower head and boil 15 minutes. For your plastic shower head combine 500ml white vinegar and 500ml hot water. Completely submerge the shower head and soak for about one hour.
Spray shower walls and shower curtain with vinegar to help prevent mildew.
Lemon oil removes the water spots on the metal shower door frames. Apply a little oil to a rag, and rub over the metal. Buff with a dry cloth. The oil repels water and helps protect against new water spots. Glass shower doors will sparkle and stay clean if you wipe them down once a week with a sponge dipped into full strength white vinegar. You can also clean out shower door tracks with a toothbrush or cotton swab dipped into a solution of bleach and water.
To clean off soap scum and mess off your bath or shower try mixing baby oil and water together in a spray bottle. Spray on a section and wipe off. Apparently cleans like nothing else.
Store your soap bars on a sponge to stop that goopy mess that you get when the soap melts in the heat IYKWIM?!
When your shower curtain gets dirty wash it with some dirty towels using whatever laundry detergent you normally use plus 1/2 cup of baking soda. Add 1 cup of white vinegar before the rinse cycle then pull out and rehang your shower curtain while the towels go through the spin cycle. Soak your curtain in a strong salt water solution and spray your curtain down regularly with 100% white vinegar to help prevent mould etc.
Rub some wet soap into the mirror and wipe off with a towel to help stop fogging up.
You can get rid of a stubborn bathtub ring with a paste of cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide. Take 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar and add hydrogen peroxide drop by drop until you have a paste. Apply the paste to the ring and let it dry. When you come back to wipe off the paste, the ugly bathtub ring will disappear, too.

Mildew and Mould
Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water in a spray bottle. Use the hydrogen peroxide thats available at the supermarket. Spray the ceiling and leave to dry for an hour then rinse the areas off.
Otherwise you could sponge undiluted white vinegar on and leave it.
You could also try dissolving half a cup of vinegar with half a cup of borax in warm water and sponging that onto the mildew and mould.
