Bath Salts
Mix equal parts Epsom Salts and Rock Salt in a jar with a lid. Add essential oils or fragrance. Put lid on, shake to mix and leave next to bath (but out of reach of nosy children ;))
Bath Bombs
1/4 cup baking soda
2 tbs citric acid
1 tbs borax powder (or sub equal amounts of baking soda and salt mixed together)
2 tbs icing sugar
2 tbs almond oil
1 tsp Vitamin E oil (again I just used EPO )
1/4 tsp fragrance or essential oil (you can use your favourite perfume)
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and stir until well blended. Drizzle in almond oil and stir until mixture is moistened. Add Vitamin E oil and fragrance and stir until well mixed. I put all the ingredients in a glass jar, put the lid on and shake until mixed Take teaspoon size globs of mixture and form into ball shapes with fingers. The mixture will be VERY crumbly and fragile, so do the best you can. Place the balls on a sheet of wax paper and leave alone for 2-3 hours. Reshape balls. Let the balls air dry and harden for 10 days. Store balls in a closed container to protect from moisture. To use, plop a ball into your bathtub in warm water.

Bath Oil
Make this the same way as vinegar except use almond/maize/sunflower/sweet/almond oil (your choice or buy a soluble, unscented, uncoloured bath oil from the chemist). Stand out of direct sunlight for 3 weeks, replacing the herbs each week with fresh. Then strain and add a few drops of essential oil (if you use rosemary then add rosemary EO as fragrance). If you have it then add a little wheatgerm oil which is extremely nourishing and preserves the oil. Use sparingly in the bath and it could be used as a massage oil too. Though not for pregnant ladies I don't think coz of the EO. Not sure on that sorry.
Bath Vinegar
Use bottle of white vinegar and fill it with a favourite herb (or combo). I use a wide necked glass jar - prettier :) Stand in the sun or hot water cupboard for about 3 weeks, replacing the herbs with fresh ones every 5-6 days. Strain the vinegar through muslin or the like and re-bottle, and at the end of the 3 weeks leave a sprig of fresh herb (whatever you used) to identify your bath vinegar. Use a dash or two in the bath, for rinsing your hair, or rubbing onto tired, achey feet.
