Soft Soap

150g Washing Soda
600g Fixed Oil (Olive, Linseed, Maize, etc - I found cheap linseed oil at a horse shop Wink)
4.5L Water
Carefully boil up the water and washing soda. Add oil slowly while constantly stirring. Simmer for 2 hours stirring it occasionally then store in air-tight jars.
Some uses:
Add your choice of essential oils and use as a shampoo. You could use it as handsoap and bodywash as well.
For cleaning wounds (or as a shampoo for oily hair) add enough methylated spirits to 50g of soap to make 100g.
To use on your garden mix 250g soap into 22 litres of water and apply. ETA its for aphids and thrips and other nasties!
