I've added a page where you can all put your questions and suggestions - abit like when this was on OB. It means if you have any specific problems you can post in there and others can add their suggestions, etc too. FX it works :o)

I have only just found this website (courtesy of OB!) and love it, unfortunately I haven't had time to go through everything yet.
I have had a look at your laundry powder recipes though. Can any of them be used in a front loader? I assume the requirement would be low suds? Which of the 3 recipes do you prefer?
And do you have a solution for getting soap buildup off a fabric shower curtain? I could get it down and scrub it but I am too lazy!
Hey Linzy :)
As a general rule homemade laundry powder are low suds so should be fine for a front loader.
I actually found the best powder to be equal measures of washing soda and baking soda for my cloth nappies and kids clothes and washing soda, baking soda and borax for the household washing and Razz's work clothes. I should actual put that in a post :o)
I spray my shower curtain down with straight vinegar everycouple of days and chuck it through the wash with some towels once a month. HTH!
